Nature Writing Retreat: Poetics of Sticky Mysteries

Nature Writing Workshop: Poetics of Sticky Mysteries with mycologist Katie Thompson and poet Genevieve Williams. Saturday, June 23, 9am – 4pm. Tuition: $35 ($10 for TNS members).* See faculty page for presenter bios.

This will be a contemplative yet active day of exploring the secret worlds of fungi and kin through the mindfulness that writing poetry can bring.** The day will include rugged hiking and quiet solitude in the woods. (A yoga mat will be handy!) Art of Mindful Walking and Wild Contemplation: a morning of quiet walking and writing with Jack Phillips and TNS faculty. Sunday, June 24th, 8:30am  – noon, optional afternoon session. Tuition: $20 (free for Saturday retreat participants and TNS members.)*
